During VBS, kids will rotate through 5 different “Stations”—these are fun, 20-minute classroom-style sessions held each day, such as crafts, games, Bible stories, and more. Each group of kids will be led by "Group Leaders", who acts as a chaperone, escorting them from station to station and helping them stay engaged and safe. "Registrations" takes place on the first day, where volunteers will check in the children, hand out their VBS shirts and bandanas, and ensure parents have all
the info they need for the day and week ahead. "Kids Check-In/Out" is an important safety measure, just like on Sundays. We want to make sure each child is safely checked in and only released to the correct parent or an authorized person designated by the parent. This helps us create a safe, secure environment for all our kids and gives parents peace of mind.
Volunteers for VBS will be wearing our Life Kids shirts during the week of the event. If you do not already own one and are volunteering as a group leader, teacher/helper, or at kids' check-in, please indicate your shirt size below so we can ensure you have one in time for the event. Thank you for your help and support!
The preparation for Vacation Bible School includes gathering supplies, organizing lesson materials, and coordinating volunteer roles. To transform our church into the "Wild West," we will be drawing, painting, and working with cardboard to create an immersive western-themed environment. From crafting rustic storefronts to painting desert landscapes, our team will bring the theme to life with creativity and teamwork. Through decorations, engaging lessons, music, and crafts, we will create a fun and meaningful experience for the children to learn about God’s love.
We are asking all volunteers to provide their availability as we plan group preparation nights for VBS, which will start in April and continue until July 21st. These preparation nights will help us get everything ready for a successful event, and your participation is essential. Please indicate your available dates so we can coordinate and make sure we have enough help. Thank you for your commitment!
As we prepare for VBS, we’d love to know what creative talents you can bring to the team! Whether it’s drawing, painting, tracing, cutting cardboard, making tissue paper flowers, crafting props, or anything else—every skill helps bring our theme to life. Please let us know how you’d like to help so we can plug you in where you’ll shine. Thank you for being part of making VBS a fun and memorable experience for the kids!
